SAN FRANCISCO, Dec 2 (Reuters) – Xiaomi Technology Co Ltd and other Chinese companies have joined a $40 million investment in U.S. wearables startup Misfit, the first time the world’s third-biggest smartphone manufacturer has taken a stake in a U.S. mobile-device maker.
