Now that Amazon’s Twitch has become pretty much ubiquitous in the video game space, with built-in streaming and viewing functionality embedded in PCs, smartphones, and modern consoles, publishers are increasingly using it to publicize their titles. Now it’s about more than hard sales; it’s about mindshare and viewership. And it’s working very much in Activision’s favor.
