Monday Sector Leaders: Technology & Communications, Healthcare

In afternoon trading on Monday, Technology & Communications stocks are the best performing sector, not showing much of a loss. Within that group, Yahoo! (NASD: YHOO) and Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) are two large stocks leading the way, showing a gain of 4.3% and 2.8%, respectively. Among technology ETFs, one ETF following the sector is the Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (AMEX: XLK), which is down 0.1% on the day, and up 13.49% year-to-date. Yahoo!, meanwhile, is up 2.12% year-to-date, and Motorola Solutions, is down 9.36% year-to-date. Combined, YHOO and MSI make up approximately 1.4% of the underlying holdings of XLK.
