After a bumper crop of CLO issuance in June, July started on a quieter tone with the July 4th holiday weekend capping issuance in the U.S. In Europe, the market looks set for a relatively quiet period, with most new transactions likely to wait until after the summer before pricing. However, some arrangers are keen to clear the decks for the Autumn deals, so there could still be one or two new issues to price before the market really shuts down for August.
