BOSTON, June 2 (Reuters) – Massachusetts on Monday filed a lawsuit against mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, accusing them of violating state law by blocking “foreclosure buyback programs” intended to help poor residents keep their homes.
